The NFL’s San Francisco 49ers needed help managing the homefield crowd entering Levi®’s Stadium during the 2017 season. Stadium managers asked Britten for a strong, light-weight and versatile system that would grab the attention of football fans while also being conducive to security monitoring of patrons on gamedays.


Britten customized six EventTruss™ structures and semi-portable RotoTop™ flagpole systems to help welcome and direct fans. Five of the EventTruss™ entrances measured 16’ H x 24’ W and the largest measured 16’ H x 32’ W. In addition to serving as highly visible event branding and wayfinding for foot traffic, mesh banners indicated prohibited items and “thanks-for-coming” parting message with helpful directions to nearby interstate routes.


Levi®’s Stadium has served as the home of the 49ers since 2014. It has a maximum seating capacity of 75,000 and has been praised for its beautiful architecture, technological advancements, convenient public transportation, fan security, and safety.
