Gilded with high-end retail, New York’s 5th Ave is the renowned boulevard of luxury brands, designer goods, and decadent lifestyles. Soaring above the bustling retail at 685 5th Ave are The Residences—a collection of exclusive high-rise properties boasting exclusive accommodations with a prestigious location.

Intending to promote available occupancies and draw further interest, Mandarin Oriental, and developer SHVO enlisted Britten Inc to create an elegant building wrap befitting these regal properties.

Solution

Opting for a tasteful monochrome image lifted from their “It Happened on Fifth Avenue” campaign, SHVO intended to drape the upper stretches above the building mezzanine with a captivating statement piece.

To accomplish the feat, Britten divided the overall image into two large-format displays that would be adjoined for a seamless, wrap-around presentation.

Printed onto building wrap mesh, the corresponding images measured an astounding 83’x85’ and 83’x72’ and once installed created an extravagant façade that the heightened the profile and presence of The Residences at 5th Ave.
