Chipping in for the Championship: Simmons Bank PGA Tournament

Situation

Simmons Bank was looking for a memorable way to elevate Arkansas' first ever PGA Tour event in Little Rock, where world-class golfers would come together to support the local community and compete for a championship title. As the event was drawing closer, Simmons Bank was searching for a partner who could create a unique splash that would resonate for years. This led Simmons bank to us at Britten, where they reached out to us to put together a huge Foam3D project for the tournament. The timeline would be tight, but our expertise in quick-turnaround projects enabled us to take on the task. After reviewing our golf portfolio, the Simmons team was drawn to several of our golf-inspired foam elements, including our massive golf ball replicas and pond float sculptures that float on water.

Solution

With our partnership officially on its way, our Britten Design Services team created lifelike renders of the proposed elements in an accurate setting, assuring that we capture Simmons Bank's vision perfectly. After reviewing an array of our proposed designs, Simmons Bank selected eight of them to begin the fabrication process. Of these designs, there was a massive vertical float, a long float, a putting green float, four huge golf balls with tees and oversized letters. After receiving the go-ahead, our team jumped right on the project, crafting each of the foam elements to completion within 20 days.

Impact

Simmons Bank eagerly anticipated the arrival of their foam elements as the setup for the PGA Championship was ramping up. Our dedicated installation team was right behind the delivery and raring to go, completing the installation with plenty of time to spare before the tournament's debut. The result was a striking branded display in big, bold letters, encouraging spectator interaction while highlighting the professional and lively energy of the tournament. With this investment, Simmons Bank can be certain that their new Foam3D™ sculptures will make an enduring brand statement that will last for many future tournaments and solidify their brand presence on the PGA stage.
